Day 1
Of training? Oh Crap. August 21 is the day ya'll. Danskins Triathlon, it's big. I remember going out on the boat while my dad set up the course thinking those women were crazy for doing that, and here I am gonna do it with my momma! Yee haw! I'm excited actually. This gives me another goal to change my body! I want to come back to preschool drills next year and be in good shape so I'm not dying of physical pain! lol. I'm excited for this goal, I hope it stays that way.
So I went to the gym in happy spirits under the sun and did a small amount of leg weights (cuz I'm not trying to build muscle any longer. I want the definition but how am I going to see it if all I do is 35 minutes of weights and 15 minutes of cardio? I need to reverse that. Still the weight training but incorporating more cardio!!!) and 39 minutes on the elliptical, going over 3 miles and 369.7 calories!
So far I'm maintaining going to the gym 2 day a week. Starting this weekend I'm gonna swim once a week then go from there. Can't drown!!! I'm probably going to look into the triathlon club and see if they can give me inspiration and advice! What a cool thing to have a triathlon group on campus- I just wonder if they're all hardcore and stuff. I just want to stay alive and not hyperventilate at the end. Well that and beat my time!

(unfortunately the scale said 201 today. That dampered my spirits, but it was pretty funny when I was on the elliptical and this girl next to me kept looking at my screen/statistics then went faster to keep up. I laughed. I used to be that girl. Shoot, I probably still would be if there wasn't VH1 to keep me occupied!)
