LOL. Today was a good day, and I needed one. Well, after classes it was good. lol.

Anyway we had the opportunity to play for the Seattle Sonics so today at 5 I trekked it down and got ready for the bball game. We drove over to the Key Arena and sat around waiting for our free pizza, then waited some more. We got free tickets so we watched the first quarter and two minutes of the next before heading down, performing their halftime then watching nearly the entire game before heading back. The busride back was the best. I love my section and their stories... Anyway, I guess our basketball team is really good and dependent on their scores tomorrow, they could be tied for first in the pac 10. So there have been all these people camping out in tents outside the stadium so on the way back our director said that if enough people will do it, to play for them for 5 minutes. well we went out there and that 5 minutes turned into 45 minutes...we had a full on rally and everything, band, cheerleaders, football players, basketball players, and even the coach headed out and gave a speech! It was sweet. One of our best rallies yet and it was impromtu!!! I was playing and telling myself to not forget this cuz this is what i love. that is a big chunk of the reason why I came to UW!!!

So after that this kid was taking us to a party, and on the way at this busy intersection was all blocked off by police, ambulnces and fire trucks. I guess this guy got hit by a car and it was pretty serious right out side of greek row. I hope that guy ends up okay. It makes you think because on campus you just tread through, you see a car but you're in a hurry to get to class so you'll go anyway. It's scary cuz one moment you can underestimate the time and get hit. that's so scary. i need to take this into consideration next time i cross the street.

Anyway, so we get to the party and it was small, not a lot of people but I had a blast. Hung out with my friends laura, kyle, seth and randall and danced, played darts, i watched them drink, arm wrestling...it was a good time. didn't get there till 1145, didn't leave till sometime after 315....now it's almost 5 in the morning and I'm STILL wide awake!
