Yay I've found my major!

Blah. I'm doin alright I suppose. Tired of this quarter. But I finally chose my path to continue forth with! Major in communications, minor in spanish, and certificate in business! It was perfect when browsing through the upper level spanish courses and seeing one that's specifically for business. When I saw that I knew it was the right choice. Now to try my darndest to get in these majors!!!

Went to the gym again yesterday. My new routine seems to be tuesdays and thursday at the gym, a little bit of weights then 30-40 minutes on the cardio machines, mostly the elliptical. Earlier this week I did the treadmil for 20 mins then the bicycle for another 15. I felt so uncoordinated.... anyway yesterday I did a small amount of leg weights then went on the elliptical for 30 minutes with a 7 minute cooldown. I did the #2 crosstraining level. Stretching and a bit of ab work followed. Then the treck up 80 stairs and a half mile back to my dorm! I'm hoping that by increasing my cardio this will not only help me gain endurance but lose some weight as well. I don't think doing mostly weights was working for me but at this point I really don't know. Not seeing any change in my body, still a ball of fat. Who knows if I'll ever be thin and healthy.

My eating hasn't been so good but it's EXTREMELY hard to eat healthy on campus while staying full and not spend a million dollars on it every quarter. And there are only so many salads you can eat. A salad is $5.44 a pound while a huge (and I mean HUGE) basket of french fries or onion rings are only $1.15. Hmm. Get that and a huge $2 dollar ice cream cone and that's a meal, right? it's extremely frusturating. I also feel that when I eat salads I just don't stay full. I often like getting a half turkey sandwich on baguette bread with a small bowl of fruit but after my class I'm starving again! I can't figure this out. Nonetheless I am not doing so well with food. For bfast this morning I made a pb&j with a can of peaches, and for lunch I had about 5 minutes to eat two small eggrolls and some fried rice before my next class. I don't even wanna know how many calories were in that. You know what I really want tho? Some teriyaki chicken with some extra rice so I can eat the rice with the teriyaki sauce!!! That is so good. I'm considering buying some teriyaki sauce and eating it with rice. If I ate just that perhaps I would shed some of my belly....I don't know tho.

So that's about it. Tonight I am playing with the HMB at a Sonics game! free dinner here I come!
